Q: What’s the difference between club volleyball and the Winter In-house league?
Club Volleyball vs. Winter In-House League
Club Season
Our Club Season runs from January through May and is designed for athletes looking for a more competitive volleyball experience.
- One team per age division
- Practices: 2 hours every Saturday and Sunday at Ping Recreation Center
- Tournaments: Within the region (1–2 hours away), one-day events that typically last the full day
- Younger age groups: Participate in up to 5 tournaments per season
- Cost: $1,200
This program emphasizes teamwork, skill development, and competition, giving athletes the opportunity to play against teams from across the region.
Winter In-House League
Our Winter In-House League runs from January through April and is perfect for athletes who want to continue improving their skills in a fun, local environment.
- Practices and games: All held at Ping Recreation Center (no travel required)
- Cost: $600
This league focuses on learning, development, and game play experience, a great option for players not quite ready for the full club commitment or those who prefer to stay local.
In summary:
- Club Volleyball = competitive play, travel tournaments, higher commitment
- In-House League = skill-building, local play, no travel
